Why not?
Beauteous, by definition, is an adjective meaning 'beautiful, especially to the sight.' In a society where physical appearance and beauty is stressed, maybe it's important to examine the alternative options to our cosmetic world.
Every morning, millions of men and women begin the day with a refreshing shower, shaving faces and legs, gelling and spraying hair, applying make-up and lotions, spritzing perfume and cologne and rushing out the door.
What do all of these activities have in common?
They include the use of personal care products that contain hundreds of ingredients. The majority of us can barely pronounce the names of these ingredients let alone know what they do to our bodies. Yet, we continue to pay hundred of dollars every year for these items are actually giving us cancer and causing birth defects.
In a growingly health conscious society, we watch what we eat, try to work out more and wear more sunscreen. We watch what we put into our bodies, but not what we put on them. Everything that touches your body gets absorbed, just at different rates - from the top of your head, to the bottom of your feet.
This blog is to supply readers with additional information about organic cosmetics and their benefits, common cosmetics ingredients, the harmful effects of these ingredients, alternative ingredients, and other information that the cosmetics companies probably don't want you to know.
